It started with one tiny fox

When our daughter first met a fennec fox, something sparked, a love for animals that kept on going, and we have been feeding it ever since.

Our story

It started with one tiny fox and a pair of impossibly large ears.

The day our daughter met a fennec fox, something lit up inside her. Not just curiosity. A kind of wonder that turns into devotion. On the ride home, she could not stop talking about it. The ears. The eyes. The desert. The way such a small creature could feel so brave.

Over time, that one moment became something bigger. It began showing up in the way she talked about her future. Work with animals. Help them. Protect them. Maybe even become a veterinarian one day.

When our daughter's grandma saw how deep that love was, she bought our daughter a fennec fox plush toy. The moment it arrived, our daughter named her Fenekie.

Fenekie has travelled with us ever since, showing up on our adventures around the world, and in the bedtime stories we tell at home. That is why she is at the heart of this club.

So we did what parents do when they see a spark like that. We fed it.

We started creating animal stories for her. Not facts on a page. Adventures she could feel. Characters she could love. Superpowers that were real, because the real world is already magical when you look closely enough.

And somewhere along the way, those little stories became the blueprint for what we make now.

What we believe

Wildlife is easier to ignore when it feels far away, like something that lives in a textbook or behind glass.

But when a child truly meets an animal in their imagination, something changes. Love shows up first. Curiosity follows. And from that place, care becomes natural.

That is why the Fenekie Explorer Club exists: to bring wildlife out of textbooks and into your child's imagination, so families can feel the connection that makes protection matter.
